Finally, he did show up.

I've never seen a grown man be so ashamed of himself. I wouldn't have been so harsh if I'd known...

Well, I suppose I learned nothing new.

So yes, I would have.

We met in the park a little after midnight and just sat and talked. He apologized a lot...offered to make up for it.

But really, I was just...shaken. More than anything. He was so sorry, and even though I was the one hurt, I found myself consoling him...

-sigh-

Things got better, though. We hugged for a long time. Nothing flashy, nothing gross or tacky, nothing too physical. Just hugging. I appreciated that a lot.

And today!

He came over, and then once he left, I went to the pool with Britney. Gabe (chill guy in my French class), Meagan (good, psychopathic friend), Sarah (best friend since fourth grade), and DJ (guy in front of me Chem--I've known him since I was in elementary, though) were already hanging out poolside. Will (a friend from my Physics class) showed up after, then Shalesa (friend from PE last year) and Stevie (middaymoon, haha, figure it out) were last in line to show.

It was fun. :3 Shalesa's doggie-paddling was the scariest thing I have ever seen, like the rest of her (she's so creepy; in my yearbook, she wrote at the end of her area, "You know where to find me (outside your window)."
